Men’s Premium T-Shirt - “DADA doubts everything. Dada is an armadillo. Everything is Dada, too. Beware of Dada. Anti-dadaism is a disease: selfkleptomania, man’s normal condition, is DADA. But the real dadas are against DADA.”

Men's T-Shirt - The Dada movement began in Zurich, neutral Switzerland in 1916, during the First World War. Dadaism was a reaction by artists to what they saw as the unprecedented horror of the war. Dadaists felt the war called into question every aspect of society including its art. In addition to being anti-war, Dada was also anti-bourgeois and anarchistic in nature. Dadaistically, Dada was, officially, not a movement, its artists not artists and its art not art.

Men’s Premium T-Shirt - In 1975 Ader (born 19th April, 1942 in Winschoten, the Netherlands) embarked on what he called “a very long sailing trip.” The voyage was to be the middle part of a triptych called “In Search of the Miraculous,” a daring attempt to cross the Atlantic in a 12½ foot sailboat. He claimed it would take him 60 days to make the trip, or 90 if he chose not to use the sail. Six months after his departure, his boat was found, half-submerged off the coast of Ireland. Bas Jan Ader has not been seen since.

Men’s Premium T-Shirt - I enjoy life but I have absolutely no belief In anything, I don't say that anguish doesn't play a part in my work. The very fact that you exist, that you see what's going on around you, that must create anguish in anybody. I have a feeling of mortality all the time because if life excites you, its opposite, death, like a shadow, must excite you.
